Crusaders rally to beat Hurricanes 18-15
Scorpio Brown returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown with five minutes remaining to give the Virginia Crusaders an 18-15 victory over the host Palmetto (S.C.) Hurricanes on Saturday.
The Crusaders, now 2-1 in Mason-Dixon Football League play, trailed 13-12 at halftime and 15-12 after three quarters. Their other scores came on 30-yard pass from Andre McGlone to Shawn Jackson and a 7-yard run by Lonnie Gilbert. They will be at home for a 7 p.m. game against the Carolina Stallions Saturday at Wanner Stadium in Williamsburg.
